Lufkin's First Baptist Church is so wonderful. I love being a part of a church with people that care so much about God's teachings. The rest of the church members are inspiring, blessed individuals. more

The fellowship at First Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas is wonderful. One person in particular that makes it so great is Pastor Knox because he is very inspirational. more

Friendly Church 8/20/2005

We have been visiting various churches and have found First Baptist church members to be friendly and welcoming. They offer a wide range of programs for various activitiess. Our daughter especially loves her Sunday school class and mission friends. At the present time, they are in the process of searching for a new preacher. However, this has not interrupted any of their activities. more

First Baptist Church-WEE CARE 8/19/2005

Excellent mother's day out program! We've been using them for 3 years now and highly recommend them! I think when you walk into a daycare facility and feel safe and secure it says a lot. From the minute I walked in I had no worries about leaving my daughter there. My daughters have learned so much while there. For a mother's day out program they make a top priority to actually teach the kids not just babysit. They teach them colors, letters, writing, music and so much more. To me it's the equivalent of a preschool program. more

Excellent childrens program 8/9/2005

My son attended Vacation Bible School this summer at First Baptist Church. He has a blast! They were extremely well organized. They had a drop-off/pick-up area and would deliver my child to my car when I pulled up. I never had to leave the car to drop him off or pick him up. Each day he came home with all sort of projects and seemed to have understood most of what they were teaching the kids. They took pictures and sent them home with the kids so the parents could see what all they had done. At the conclusion of the VBS they had a short program and the kids got to show the parents the songs they had learned. Very nice program! more
