First American Title Ins Co

Filed paperwork for the county not city. The county replied that they did not service my house. They never followed up. The city won't allow me to do anything till this company has my name put on it. They claim they do not have a direct number for me to speak with anyone about this. Pros: Selling company paid for them Cons: Didn't do the right paperwork more

I have use them twice to close on a sale of a house and was very happy with the way they handled everything. I was very impressed with the way they helped my husband and I with our last purchase. We were renting a home for two years and wanted to purchase it, so we talked to our landlord and he was moving out of town and agreed to sell it to us. So we went out and got our own mortgage and we called ""First American Title"" to take care of the closing of the home and they were great. They took care of everything and within two weeks we were owners of our new home. They even went as far as to mail in our homestead paper work as part of the closing, which really impressed my husband and I. The closing was over in about an hour and we had no problems. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a good and honest Title company for the closing of their real estate purchase. Pros: They really care about your closing! more
