We moved into a property thinking everything was just fine. We met, signed the lease and did a small qalk through. Once we moved in, we found out that this was a completely different house when lived in.
The grass was not cut as promised before we moved in. When we went to view the house, the grass was a bit taller than our ankles, when we moved in the grass was to the middle of the calf.
The water smells PUTRID. Even the water coming from the refridgerator filter smelled.
The thermostat is lopsided, therefore the calibration does not read well.
The garbage disposal has something wrong with it, but it does work. Makes a grinding sound.
But the biggest issue is the fact that since move in, which has been a month, we have not had a working stove. I am a mother of 4, so I have a lot of mouths to feed - which is IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT A STOVE. I keep getting the run around about having it fixed. First I hear, 'It will be fixed by Wednesday - we'll have someone come out.' Then, I hear it was my responsibility to contact an electrician, and then finally I hear that someone will come out and that has not happened!!
I am really fed up with the treatment I am receiving and run around. It is aggravating and very unprofessional.
Not to mention, I dont even have keys to the amenities that are included in my rent such as the pool and gym.
My suggestion is - DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY TO RENT A HOUSE.
