Last Sunday I took my car into Firestone Auto Care on Commercial St. to get my front brake pads replaced. When I arrived, Rick greeted me and asked me what I needed done. I told him my front brake pads were making noise and I needed them replaced. It was late in the day and they closed at 5pm on Sundays, so he said he would do a brake inspection for me, then he'll see what needs to be done. So I left and came back an hour later. He gives me a quote of $1,600 and some dollars and says the front and rear brakes both need to be done. Printed out on an invoice he gave me were all kinds of recommended services I did not need. I had previously gone to two other brake shops in town shopping for prices and they never told me I needed anything else, just the front brake pads. So I denied the extra recommended services he suggested and scheduled an appointment for that Wednesday to do just the fronts brake pads for $159.99. \r
