Got an estimate to put a tire pressure monitor on a back tire, they quoted $180.00 out the door. Maybe because the vehicle is a Cadillac, they thought we were ignorant on the reasonable cost of car repairs? Bought the part online for $20 and had a mechanic at Steve's repair shop in Carlisle install the part. He charged $20.00. Rip off at Firestone?? You tell me. more

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! 2/17/2006

Took my car here for an (expensive) oil change and my engine light mysteriously came on the day after. My boyfriend took his car in to get fixed the same day. They charged him $20 extra just to "investigate the noise" and the next day, his tire fell off on the interstate! He has a couple thousand dollars worth of body work that needs to be done on it now. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! PROS: NONE! CONS: Expensive, shady more
