I went here to get an oil change before I drove out of state on vacation. When I picked up the car, they presented me with a huge list of things that NEEDED to be done do my car ...

WARNING ! ! ! 10/13/2010

I bought tires there one time and I asked the pencil pusher to make sure that they put the best tire in the truck as a spare. Wife picks up car and she phones ans says 'There's all kinds of work that needs to be done ! ! What should I do ? ? Is it safe to drive the car home ? ?' They deal in scare tactics. Getting back to the tire...one of there ace mechanics takes the tire off the rim and puts it in the trunk with the rim separate. I was so POed that I could not even call them on it ! ! Like the other gentleman said almost $900 worth of NEEDED REPAIRS. The car was it was a 74 diplomat (police car) with 37,000 miles, all original. I warn you all don't waste your money. more

Not the place to go! 7/13/2010

I agree with the other review. This Firestone has found multiple things "wrong" with my car, other mechanics have not been able to find. Additionally, they did "work" on my friends car, that was NOT done, and the manager agreed, and had to give her some money back. more

Not sure of their honesty? 10/24/2005

I went here to get an oil change before I drove out of state on vacation. When I picked up the car, they presented me with a huge list of things that NEEDED to be done do my car - things such as I had a bunch of leaks, broken parts, etc that needed fixing. I couldn't afford it so I went ahead and drove it 1200 miles to my home town. There, I had my family's mechanic go over the car - and lo and behold, there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my car!!!! So - maybe the folks at this firestone were just confused??? Or maybe they were trying to take me for nearly $1000 . Guess it's up to you to decide. I'll never go there again! more
