Do your homework before deciding to use this Firestone for service. 1/17/2012

These guys are over priced and completely dishonest. I have been to several Firestone throughout San Diego county and this location is the worse by far. Unprofessional and overpriced service. They charged me $50 for an oil change. Really? Then they tried to sell me services that were completely unnecessary. For example, they tried to tell me my timing belt was bad, shortly after I had it replaced. Then they tried to sell me some tires. After checking around, I found the same tires @ Discount Tires for $30 cheaper. Avoid this place by means necessary if you can. more

Oh Dear! 2/15/2007

Do yourself a favour and go to a "real" mechanic and not these overpriced jokers. Customer service was the worst and most unprofessional I have EVER dealt with. Avoid like the plague! more

Tires and the like 7/13/2005

This Firestone location does great tire patches. I've taken 2 cars there, and both of the patches were really inexpensive, but have lasted. Replacement tires were a bit expensive, but unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of choice. The biggest problem here is that this location is ALWAYS busy, often having over a five hour wait on the weekends. Appointments definitely recommended. PROS: CONS: Walk-ins almost impossible more

Oil Change 6/28/2005

Firestone is a name you know and trust, you don't have to worry about going there and getting taken. They will schedule you an appointment if you need an oil change. This location is centrally located for me but there are numerous shops around San Diego. The people are easy to talk to and explain things very clearly. I always feel satisfied after using them for my oil changes. more
