Firestone

I have been going to the Palmale Firestone since the 1990's, they don't try to sell you something that you don't need. I recently went in for brakes and was told that I did not need brakes in the front and back. Most repair places would have wanted to replace everything. My son bought a car that was a lemon from day one, the car has been to the dealer countless times and we had to use the service contract to get the engine repaired. The car continued to leak and have stalling issues after taking it to the dealer over and over. My son took his car to Firestone for a tune up and they told him what was wrong with the car, fixed that problem and replaced the 3 bald tires that he was driving on for a very reasonable price for all that was done. The car now has a better get up and go, has not stalled and can now be parked in the driveway because it is not leaking. Way to go DJ.\r \r Janice G.D. and son. more

I love the service I get here, D.J is honest, upfront, friendly, and always treats me like family. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. I live a good 30 miles away, but still will only come to Palmdale Firestone. If anyone writes a bad review, they are stupid for not taking the diagnostic advice that was given after they test drive ur car. Some people just always try to get free stuff like its owed to them. Proper maintenance costs money. Duh. more

This Firestone is not a place to take your car. My sister took her car in due to overheating. They replaced the hoses. It drove fine for one day. We took it back, near closing time. They drove it and the needle spiked, the mechanic (owner) checked the temp. and said it was electrical and sent her on her way, the car is fine. 2 days later, the engine cremeated itself!. Firestone refused to refund or fix the car. Though one of the mechanics knew that they made the error. Now the car is non operative, and they don't care. We did not sign the second Cash out, which he tried to get us to sign after adding suggestions, that were not on the original and we refused. This is the second family member that has lost a car to this location. Go somewhere else ...if you want to keep your car. more
