fireside books is a wonderful store, they had all my favorites. I love the series pretty little liars. I was looking all over for the 2nd book, I looked at shopko, walmart, everywhere, then I finally found it at fireside books! I was soooo happy! Great store! more

Fireside is a great bookstore, and I'd so much rather visit them than a large chain. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Very clean and neat, parking is terrific, and they have some nice sales!! I will continue to patronize our local store! more

I buy books from Fireside often. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable--that's what sets small bookstores apart from the big chain stores! The selection is not huge, but they choose books with care and know what the community wants. They also host numerous community reading groups and have local authors speak. Highly recommended for local book purchases. more

An excellent locally-owned independent bookstore, the only one in Washington County. Has a good selection of books and other items, offers writing and reading groups, and often hosts authors for presentations and book signings. Well received in the community and a 25-year fixture in West Bend. more

Fireside is truly an amazing bookstore. They have all the best-selling books and others and lots of the other little hits as well. Plus, if they don't have a book there for you then they will order it, no extra charge! You only have to pay for shipping and handling if the warehouse is out and they have to order it from Amazon.com. But otherwise they will pay for it to come from the warehouse and it gets there in about 2 days. They also have journals, some knick-knacks, book marks, some jewelry, and some skin care like Burt's Bees. They could definitely hold there own against any other bookstore. No matter who it was. They have the BEST service and are very kind, helpful and willing. They also have lots of stuff for a small town store. Support them and you won't regret it. :] more

Great store and very convenient! It has all the popular books from now and other times. And all the best-selling authors. If they don't have a book there they will order it for you and they will always check in the back if you don't see one on the shelf. They know everything their is to know about books. Although it's a small town they have a big selection. We have only had to order books a few times and they really care about the customers. Parking is nice too. The service is wonderful! They have a good selection of magazines, knick-knacks, and a spectacular selection of books. They also have 'hurt' book sales, books by the pound, and clearance pretty often, for books that aren't very popular. They have hard and soft cover books. Fireside has a punch card so every time you buy a book you get a stamp. When it's full you get 5 dollars off. And when you forget your card they will give you a new one then combine the two next time. They could hold their own against any chain store even Bar more

yes this isn't b & n, but they have a fair amount in the space they do have. and they are not all that small either for a local bookstore. They sell all new books and they offer a punch card for paperbacks. They do charge list prices, but at least you are supporting a local instead of a big box store. Store is always neat and clean and parking is very easy. Staff is always nice to me and reminds me of the punch card if I forget. more

Fireside is a good store, but they better watch out if B&N or Border's comes to town. The selection is pretty slim, although the magazines section is fairly large. There is a nice clearance section in the back with some great deals, but it's never a good sign when a store has to mark down a large amount of stuff. The service is a friendly but the prices are a little high. more
