The worst steak I have ever had - Chef has poor standards! 6/22/2008

We had reservations for a party of 4 during restaurant week. Even though our reservation was made well in advance, and confirmed ahead of time, we still waited 20 minutes before being seated. Pros: Convenient location, plenty of parking Cons: Food burnt, food improperly cooked, and chef couldn't care less about standards more

Truly great wine bar and restaurant 6/19/2007

So, after going to the same places in Encinitas over the last 3 years it was time to try a new place. My husband and I have been to Firefly 3 times in the last 3 weeks, after trying it on a whim for the first time, and absolutely love the ambiance, wine, food and customer service. The menu is always changing but I had the most amazing filet with the fig wine sauce that was cooked to perfection. Pros: Ambience, Parking, Food, Wine, Service more
