Firefighters' Museum and Old #3 Firehouse Café is in a historic brick firehouse on West Washington Street (226). The museum has an amazing number of interesting artifacts related to firefighting such as leather helmets and an old house sign that used to be placed on the front of homes to show they had paid for private fire protection. Parking is on the street to the side of the museum. Tours are made by appointment and stress fire safety. The café is open only Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
