Fire Mountain Gems

I have purchased over $3,000 worth of beads from Fire Mountain in the past year. I have never returned anything in all the yrs. I have been a customer, even when it was broken or less than what I expected. However, I did make a purchase in July in which I returned around a hundred dollars worth of beads because the colors were not true and the quality was just not what I had expected. I had ordered a lot of high end 24K gold painted beads which I kept. Most of which were on sale and did not qualify for the volume discount. It costs me $15 dollars to send them back. I got a $2.30 credit from Firemountain. (should have been credited back to my credit card). Hope it was worth the hundred dollars, because that is the last money I will be spending with them . more

my $15 dollars worth of merchandise cost me $11.22 to mail to me. the items were shipped in a priority flat rate envelope -for which i was charged $8.95!!! the items shipped weigh 1/2 an ounce. a priority flat rate envelope costs $4.95 !!!!! the two items were in a plastic bag and shoved into the priority envelope. that act cost me $2.20(handling) i contacted Fire mountain gems about this customer fleecing they've begun. I've heard nothing from them -it's been one week since i contacted them. ( the automated response i received said i'd have an answer within 48 hours. Nothing. pooor customer service is how i rate this transaction. more

Just wish that if you forgot something on your order, and noticed it on delivery, they could give you the price break as the original order within so many days of receipt. But of course that is not their fault. Love to bead. more
