Figure Fair Lingerie & Swmwr

I'm a 36G and ofter have a difficult time finding a bar that fits. I bought a spaghetti strap gown to wear to a ball and went to Dillard's to purchase a bustier but was informed that they did not sell them but to try a strapless bra. The sales clerk brought out 2 bras for me to try. They totally did not work with the gown. Then she told me they were not my size, but she brought them out just in case they worked with the gown. I remembered that years ago, I'd gone to Figure Fair to purchase a bustier and decided to give them a try again. I walked in, was greeted by a sales associate; whose name was Anna. I told her my size and she took my measurements to be certain and said she had the perfect bustier for me. I went into the fitting room, Anna helped me into my gown and got me all buttoned up. It was a perfect fit and gave me the perfect look! This should have been my first stop! The straps were a little long on the gown. I pulled them together in the back and asked Anna if she knew where I could purchase a bra cinch. She said she had something that would work. She looked in a drawer and pulled out a crystal broach and fasten it horizontally through the straps. It looked like it was a design of the gown. She then told me that I could borrow her broach and return it after the ball. WOW!!!This was the best experience ever!!! I will always shop Figure Fair for my intimate needs. more

I just wanted to say that Anna helped me find the best fit ever! It had been so long since I have had myself measured and fitted with the correct size and cup! Anna was very help ful and fit me properly! Now I don't have a bra riding up my back. It fits me perfectly and gives me the support I have been needing but could never find in a dept. store bar. This is the only place that gave me one on one attention and made sure it fit me properly before leaving the store. Yes the bra was more expensive than the ones I buy at dept. stores BUT it's well worth it! The fit is comfortable and the support is amazing!! more

NEEDED WITH MY CURVED BACK AND VERY FULL BREASTS A SKILLED FIT. THIS I DID NOT GET TRY TO BELIEVE THIS ONE BRA SHE BROUGHT IN AND I TRIED IT ON SHE SAID""DO YOU KNOW A SEAMSTRESS WHO COULD SHORTEN THE STRAPS"" SEVERAL GARMENTS LATER SHE ANNOUNCED THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU AND I AT THE TIME WOULD NEVER THINK DIFFERENTLY. SHE EVER SO SWEETLY PICKED UP MY BRA THAT I WORE COMING IN TO THE STORE I CHECKED OUT ALL STILL SO FRIENDLY. I MADE A PASSING THOUGHT WHEN SHE HANDED MY RECEIPT IT WAS FOLDED THEN STAPLED WHY DO THAT? I HAD NOT EVEN REACHED HOME WHEN THE BRA WAS CUTTING INTO MY CHEST AND WHEN I DID GET HOME IMMEDIATELY HAD TO GET OUT OF THIS BRA AND ACTUALLY HAD A DIFFICULT TIME REACHING THE BACK TO UN-HOOK THIS IT HAD SLID SO FAR UP THE BACK. GOOD FIT HARDLY I IMMEDIATELY CALLED ANNA DIENER DESCRIBED THE DIFFICULTY QUOTE ""DID YOU NOT SEE YOUR RECEIPT?I CANNOT EXCHANGE ANY ITEM THAT HAS BEEN WORN"" I DID NOT EXPECT THIS SUPPOSEDLY SPECIALTY SHOP WOULD CHOOSE THIS POLICY. I took a BM & my MOH w/me to ""Figure Fair"" a lingerie/undergarment store near the Tyrone Mall. There were 2 associates, an older lady & another w/short RED hair in her mid-40s. When we walked in I was assisted by the older lady (SHE was sweet) & I said that we were all there to find corsets for my wedding. While I was being helped (by the older lady), my 2 BMs were looking for something to try on. The red-haired sales clerk (believe she's possibly the owner) asked my BMs ""Are you here to buy something or are you just playing games?"". My MOH recognized how rude that was, but as a favor to me, bit her tongue & responded that they'd purchase pending them finding something they liked that fit them. There were now 2 other customers in the store & I guess RED felt she was too busy for ppl who weren't a definite sale. Meanwhile, I'm trying on like 7 corsets & I did eventually find something that fit PERFECT. By now, my girls had tried a few items on (my MOH 2 items & other BM tried 3bras on), but both live about 1hr away & due to the strict 7day return policy they declined the purchases as the wedding's not til May & RED was so RUDE. I still needed my corset so I went to checkout & paid cash. Was commenting how I was going to bring my grandmother back for hers, but as the older lady was handing me the receipt RED told her I couldn't return the bra as the item is now discontinued. I hesitated if I should return it, but I'd my mind made up I was walking out the store w/the one bra that finally fit me so I was saying ""its ok, i need it anyway"" when RED offered an additional 10% discount. Far be it for me to decline a discount so I said sure & then waited & waited b/c RED could then not calculate 10% off the purchase. So I said nicely since she's giving me the discount & I felt doing me the favor, ""If its easier we could just void the charge & start over with the discount?"". RED turns to me & says ""Frankly you've been a pain in the a$$ and I'd rather just cancel the purchase completely"". My jaw hit the floor. I had like no interaction with this woman & whatever she'd exchanged with my MOH, HOW WAS I TO BLAME? I NEED THE BRA! I'd NEVER in all my life been spoken to like that by somebody I AM HANDING $ TO! She made another comment about how I wasn't so bad, but they (my BMs) had tried on like 30bras (which they didn't), but even if they had tried on 300, its a bra store! Women go to try on bras hoping something will fit that they can afford. I just stood there just staring at her (my mouth gaping in shock) when my BMs finally shook me out of it. The older lady apologized to me as she handed me my $. The owner should be ashamed her employees are apologizing for her behavior. I was so upset I was nauseous. I'm a spvsr in customer svc & this woman's behavior blew me away. When one of my BMs commented about her attitude being shocking & not good for business she retorted ""We've been in business for over 50yrs. We've seen you're kind before. You're not the first & you definitely won't be the last!"" ""My kind""? A chubby chick who was excited to finally find a bra that fit? Even writing this I am recounting the events & although I'm aware my MOH made some faces behind the woman's back she was never outright rude til she called me a pain in the a$$. I didn't ask for a discount, she offered. If she was unable to calculate the 10%, she shouldn't have offered. I'd already paid full price & had the bag in my hand! I've never written reviews b4, but this fiasco has me wanting to WARN OTHERS. FYI, I'm a redhead myself so I've nothing against this woman's hair color, Its just a reference as I'm unsure of her name. I was pretty upset & didn't think I'd find that same corset anywhere else (especially since it was discontinued), but searching the internet I managed to find (in NUDE which Figure Fair didn't have) and it was $20 less even including S&H.
