Worst

The food is over-rated and there was an insect in my food. On the upside, I had a good server and the atmosphere is great. . . no comped meal for the big nasty insect in my pasta...

The absolute BEST pizza ever! 4/22/2012

I visited Figlio for the first time back in September of 2011, and had the best pizza of my 47 years of life here on earth! Sara is the best chef of all time! My pizza, (which she chose for me) was the greatest! The waitstaff is awesome, and the whole experience was something that I will never, ever forget. I recently came back for another visit, and was once again blown away by the food. Sara remembered me from the last time, came out to my table, (where she got an impromptu hug), and greeted me like a friend. How awesome was that??!! If you want great food, great service, and the dining experience of your life, by all means dine at Figlio. You will never forget it!!!! more

One of the best places in Columbus - a gem! 3/9/2009

My wife and I have been going for years. Pizzas are out of this world good and the ingredients are consistent and always delicious no matter what you get. Try and make your own! Pros: Wood -fired pizzas, great pasta, wines, staff, cozy and cute atmosphere, value. Cons: none. more

Puts Spagio to shame. 1/9/2008

The pizza (mushroom for me) is wonderful, dessert was outstanding. My husband had some delicious pasta. Service is a little on the slow side - but that is normal for Columbus on a Friday night. Reservations suggested! Having dined at Spagio (similar menu, also in Grandview) I was worried on my first trip to Figlio. Figlio did not disappoint, on a week night it is quiet and romantic. Not pretentious - so if you're looking for a place to be seen in or namedrop, go to Spagio.....if you're looking for good service and yummy food - a nice variety to choose from, and great salads and dessert - go to Figlio. Pros: Tasty pizzas, pasta and desserts - best wood-fired pizza around! Cons: Go on a weeknight, or make reservations! more

Best pasta, hands down! 1/8/2008

My husband and I were looking for a a quick bite to eat and stumbled into Figlio in Grandview. The restaurant was comfortable and welcoming. The wine list was well balanced and the menu had plenty to choose from. The pricing as reasonable considering the portions. Great experience! Pros: The food and drinks Cons: Parking more

If you like pizza and pasta, it's where you want to be! 3/20/2007

This is one of my favorite restaurants - you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The only serve pizza, pasta and salads, but their food could satisfy any eater (taste or appetite -wise). Their pizzas are unique and delicious, their pastas are some of the best I've ever had, and the salads are great as an appetizer or entree. This place is always crowded, and for good reason! They also have a patio on Grandview Ave and is perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends or family. There are many places to walk to before or after your meal. Maybe i went in expecting a lot more because of the high reviews on City Search, but i was just slightly dissappointed. Yet still very good italian food! the pizza was good not the best... Pros: Good italian Cons: overated pizza more

Great for any occasion 2/4/2007

I've been to Figlio with my family, with my friends, and with my girlfriend and it's been a great experience every time. Everything I've ordered here has been excellent, and the atmosphere is great. It's not too elegant, but not too casual. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served here. The pastas are excellent and the pizzas are great too. more

Figlio - a Columbus must! 3/24/2005

Great ambience and the food does not disappoint. The Blackened Shrimp is out of this world. Great wine selection and service. Fun to go as a couple or with a group. Ambience is fun upscale with a value priced menu. Recommend to all of my friends. more

Amo Figlios (I love Figlios) 2/10/2003

My wife and I love Figlios. We've been dining there every since they first opened. The Danis run a truly first class operation with both of their restaurants. Our favorite, and the first restaurant in Columbus, is the Grandview Figlios. We enjoy the noisy ambiance and the friendly waitstaff. We also immensely enjoy the ""newsletter"" produced by the Danis that offers keen insight into their strong family values. These same values are applied in their restaurant operations. Lively Atmosphere & Food! 8/20/2002

Figlio in Grandview has a very electric atmosphere, impeccable service, and simply divine pizzas and pastas. Their wine selection, though not a ""whos who"" of wines, compliments the menu very nicely. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are hearty. Can't get enough 8/19/2002

I absolutely love Figlio for its wonderful food and simple yet charming atmsphere. Stylish but not upscale. Attractive, friendly staff. Chicken Diablo is amazing, as are other pastas and pizzas on the menu. Menu is limited, as is wine list, but everything you need is available.
