id like you to know that i intend on finding out who the owner of this restaurant is. My husband and i were in the maple brook fiesta time last night we were takin to our seat without even a hello..the chips were slid across the table along with the salsa..i asked if i could have the mild never got it, our waiter came again no smile no hello..a gruff what do you want to drink and what do you want to order..we ordered he never came back to refill drinks..but the people behind us got excellent service from him..laughing joking etc...our food came i was missing sour cream and still no refills and no waiter i asked the guy that brought our food could i please have the sour cream i ordered he stared and walked off and again nothing..finally a waitress came by i asked if i could please get some sour cream she said oh yes brought it back with a smile and offered to refill our drinks..we finished our dinner which was not good at all so disappointing..finally here comes our waiter..any thing else he says..we said no..waiting again on the check..i in turn took his tip over to the waitress that helped us and gave it to her who happen to be sitting with the manager and i told him and her what had happened along with thanking her for being so nice and helpful..the manager actually looked away from me and continued to fold silverware..not so much as a sorry you had a bad experience nothing..i was floored..we used to go in there all the time.. i will not ever again and will make sure to go on every local site and post a review..horrible service and sub par food... more

This is one of the more refined Mexican Restaurants on Dixie Highway. I like the atmosphere a lot more than Ernesto’s. If I want a sports bar, I'll go to a sports bar. Good Margarita specials also. Excellent service, server was always nearby, checking on us often. A+\r more

The best Mexican restaurant on Dixie Hwy. Pollo tapatio is a bit spicy but it's delicious! Their chips and salsa are great! I've never gotten anything I didn't like.\r more

I have eaten at all the Mexican places in Louisville and piña fiesta is the best!!! Absolutely amazing service, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere. I come almost every Friday for dinner and drinks. It's good to see people that take pride in their business and this place shows that they do! A for sure great experience for drinks or a dinner with the family.\r more

This is the best Mexican I have had. Authentic, priced really well, friendly attentive service. My Guatemalan husband prefers this over any other restaurant. The food is delicious, well cooked. Servers are friendly and fast. Portions are huge. Great food, great value. You will not be disappointed as long as you realize this is REAL Mexican and not Tex-Mex.\r more

We will be going back. I prefer local restaurants & they can be harder to come by in this part of town. We wanted a simple Mexican place & Urban Spoon reviewers steered us here. They were right. It wasn't anything fancy or fusion but that isn't what we wanted anyway. I got the enchilada plate w/ 5 different enchiladas - all good. Even the shredded beef which isn't typically my favorite. The salsa for the chips was delicious. So good that I could have eaten it all by itself.\r more

Friendly, fun local neighborhood mexican restaurarant on the east end 5/6/2008

Atmosphere was good, located in a small shopping center, the restaurant is small and cozy. the food is average/good. this is definitely not the most authentic restaurant in town and has been americanized. the guacamole has lots of mayo, margaritas are premixed but good, just not fresh lime and triple sec the way they are really made. we tried the mini chimis and a steak tip burrito. I thought the burrito was a bit small but the food was good. Pros: upbeat ambience, proximity for east end, low prices Cons: not true authentic food but that's about it more
