I do not have insurance and I have been looking for a professional dental office for a while. I spoke to Lucy who was very nice and helpful and set me up with an appt. as soon as she could. Luckily for me they had a cancellation and I was able to go the following day. The staff was was so professional and caring especially Karen. I have never had my teeth cleaned by "the" dentist before always a hygenist. Well Dr. Fields likes to clean new patients' teeth because it gets him familiar with your mouth. He was very warm and caring. He has been a dentist for many years and everyone in the office has been there no less than ten years. I like the idea of seeing the same denist every time. I have gone to other offices where the dentist is never the same. At Dr. Fields' office I never felt pressured to spend thousands of dollars on my mouth which has always been the case in previous dental offices. He understands many people are having financial difficulties and tries to do what works best for the patient. They have a dental plan for those who need insurance. They have payment plan options . They provide an initial first time visit for $49 which includes exam, xrays, and cleaning. Everywhere else was around $250. All I can say is I found a dental office I am keeping. I have been a patient of Dr. Fields for over 10 years and have always received such wonderful treatment from not only Dr. Fields but all of his staff. From the minute you walk into the office, they warmly greet you. You never wait a long time in this office. And most importantly, the dental care is terrific. I have had my fair share of dental issues over the years and I truly feel that Dr. Fields has done a great job treating all of them. His prices are great, his staff is terrific and they truly care about all of their patients. I would absolutely recommend this office to anybody! more

I found the office staff to be poorly trained and unprofessional. They promised to forward X-rays to my new dentist, but did not do so even though I told them I was in pain. Two weeks later, I called to see when they were sent. I got an argument from the office manager who told me to pick them up at a $25.00 cost. When I came in to pick them up, the dentist was out for the day and they had no appointments for that day, per Sylvia. They moved as slow as they could and had time to joke around while I waited in pain. The envelope they gave me didn't even have the X-rays in it. When I finally got them, the copy was of poor quality and had writing on the images. They laughed at me and sent me off with a "Here you go. Bye Bye!" more

Go to a Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting, where people stand up and talk aboust great services they've used. At any given breakfast, several people will stand up and go -- "I'd like to thank Dr. Field for his great and painless work." Alot of Doctors promis, but he delivers, and they community knows it and trusts him to deliver, and he does. If you are scared of denists, he's your guy, if you're not, they you have no excuse to not see him! more
