We don't live far from the show(Marietta), so our family decided to go. We've been to other shows in the area such as Shocktoberfest and Jason's Woods so my kids wanted to give it a try. The place is located right on the highway so it's easy to find. From there you park and enter a well themed courtyard that my children enjoyed until my youngest got scared by a chainsaw wielding guy right off the bat. He was relentless with her and wouldn't back away until I had to step in. A mother of three shouldn't have to do that. While settling down a bit, we partook in the longest serpentine line I could of imagined. While in line, groups of teenagers sat, cursed and line jumped til they got to the front with noone yelling at them. The scenes on the hayride were detailed and the effects were good but nothing had really held our attention like the clown scene. After that, actors(kids in masks with hoodies and gloves) got up onto the wagon and yelled get out of hear and ahh a bunch. My middle daugter suffered a fractured ankle the summer before going. An actor went up to her and yanked on her ankle dragging her into the middle of the wagon. I was shocked. After hitting him off, I got off and left with two children crying before the night was through. I wouldn't go back even if someone paid me to. Sorry, you guys had some nice startles and scenes but altogether this is a third act beatdown. No thanks!
