Field of Dreams has a fantastic program. I think that somebody has sour grapes on a previous post. I have my child in the program and have many friends with chldren in the program. My personal experience has been great and I only hear great things about the programs from other people. more

I have a three year old child in the pre-school program and my older child is in the after school program. Both programs are great! The pre-school program has cameras, electronic security, the teachers are great, and it is amazing what my pre-schooler is learning. My older daughter is having a great time in the after school program with the many games and activities that they have every day. They have plenty of staff and I am not concerned about security at all. The teachers help make sure that homework is done before we get home. Both of my children are exremely happy at Field of Dreams and I am very confortable having them there. more

I expressed a concern regarding security and the take-away of services at the new FOD after school adventure. The next thing I know, I was called and without warning the director expelled my child and told me I was ""a bad apple"". So now my poor girl suffers the consequence of a parent who only wanted the best for her child. I originally posted this review out of anger, but now I just feel shocked and numb towards FOD. I did have a couple of bad experiences when they first opened in 2005, however, to their credit, they handled the situations beautifully. I've changed my review and my rating because, seriously, I can't give just one star to a place I trusted for almost 4 years with my daughter. I used to be one of FOD's biggest fans and, truthfully, I would highly recommend them for their services at their Baxter Village location. In that respect, I would give them 10 stars. I retorted that I thought the director was a ""cold you know what"", but, truthfully, I was hurt by the ""bad apple"" reference. She always had great things to say about my girl and I think her heart's usually in the right place. It's disheartening, though, that bonds of long duration can be broken over expressing a concern. I was never mean or obnoxious about it. I will never forget what the director and the owner did to my girl. I'm still not crazy about the after school care location and I think it was unfair to take away security features and lunches for the older kids. On the up side, all the teachers are wonderful and seemed to really care about my girl. The after school facility has great games and lots for the kids to do inside (there's no playground). Someone commented indirectly to me that they thought I had sour grapes. If they express a concern and have their child coldly kicked of their program, that person can let me know how their share of the sour grapes taste. So, in a nutshell - preschool program: 10 stars. After school program: 3.5 stars. Pros: Great Staff, Lots for the Kids to do Cons: No security features at the after school site, no lunches more
