This was my first time using FHT Auto Transport, Inc. and everything went smoothly. I had no issues and no problems. Everything they told me was dead on. Whenever I had a question about the time or place they answered and were dead on schedule. Everything was good and I had no hassles. more

This is my second time using FHT Auto Transport Inc. They transported my care from New Jersey to LA. My car arrived in good condition. My car arrived about two days late. more

FHT Transport did an excellent job tranporting my vehicle from Thousand Oaks, California, to Radford, Virginia. They sent a small truck to pick it up in Thousand Oaks because the road to the house was uphill and would not allow the bigger truck in the residential neighborhood. There was also a steep hill getting up to the home. Once my truck was loaded, I was notified by someone with FHT that my car was loaded and provided the estimated day of delivery. They then called me about 3 days before the day of delivery to determine a physical address where their driver would be able to meet me for the pick up. It had to have at least 2 lanes each way. We determined the delivery would be at the nearest Walmart. She then said that my name and phone number was provided to the driver and he would call me in the next day or two to give me an update as to where he was and his estimated time of arrival. The driver called me 2 days before arrival to let me know he was in Mississippi and that he would arrive the next day at midnight. The next day, he called to confirm his arrival, and also where to meet the following morning at 7:00am at the Walmart parking lot. He was there right on time and was already working to take my car off his transport when we arrived. FHT Transport did an excellent job with this transport. It was in mid June, 2011. What people must understand is there is a lot of uncertain when it comes to getting your car shipped across the country, particularly with weather conditions, traffic, etc. In my case, there were no problems or delays. If there had been, I would still give an excellent recommendation to any trucking company who followed through and called me on estimated arrival, etc. and kept me posted at all times. These guys work hard and it is not an easy task driving cars or any cargo across the country. In my case, the weather conditions were perfect and most of the cars on the transport were headed for Virginia or Maryland. That is the other variable to consider when waiting to get your car picked up, which is why it helps to go through a broker who will put your bid on a docket to be picked up by a transport company headed where you want to ship your car. FHT Transport and Aaall States Auto Transport did an excellent job with getting my car across the country. And now that I plan to return, I plan on using them again. more

Overall my experience with FHT was good. My car got from point A to point B in a timely manner with no damage. However there were some issues at origin and destination that if corrected could take this company from good to GREAT. At origin the pickup time kept getting delayed; first 10pm, then 11pm, and finally just passed midnight the driver arrived. I had to keep calling him for updates, he should have been calling me. At the destination my wife inspected our vehicle. During her inspection the driver kept asking for the money and kept rushing her. Luckily she was prepared for this and took her time inspecting before any money changed hands. Once again...FHT you were good, but you could be great. more

I am extremely impressed with the service provided by FHT Auto Transport. I contracted FHT through a broker and was put directly in contact with them. I contacted Steve (Manager) directly to ask the typical questions when shipping a car cross country. Steve spent half an hour with me on the phone to address my concerns and provided specifics with regards to logistics, expected time of delivery, type of carrier, background of the driver(s), etc. He assured me that he has trustworthy and diligent drivers and is in contact with them when they are on the road. As requested, FHT also provided a copy of their DOT license and Insurance information. The first driver David who picked up my car was on time, polite and professional. He did a very detailed walk through of my car and explained the paperwork. The day after pick up, I received a call from Susan at FHT and she went through the logistics again and followed up with an email on the same day. 7 days after departure, I called FHT as instructed to find the ETA of my car. I was told that it was 2 days away and the driver will call me the day before delivery. My car arrived 1 day early and at the time Miguel (second driver) quoted when he called me to confirm his arrival. Miguel was very polite and cautious when unloading my car from the carrier. The entire process took 20 minutes!!!!! I am extremely happy with the service I received from FHT. My car arrived clean, undamaged, no extra mileage and on time! FHT never charged anymore than the quoted price. The driver was great and I am impressed with their customer service as you will always get a real person when you call. I highly recommend FHT and will use them when I move back to Southern California! more

I was faced with the decision to move my car across country by transport; I was concerned. My initial contact company was Total Car Shipping out of Florida; they contracted with FHT Auto Transport. I was contacted immediately by Susan and given all the details of what to expect with my transport; she was very personable and professional, has a way of making you feel comfortable and assured about trusting your car to total strangers. A few hours later, Steve called, to make sure that all the info had been gone over with me and to see if I had any questions; it was followed up by an email (all of this relieves me of having to follow up on all of it when I have a million other things to think about! Thank you for that. Dave picked up my car on time and was professional and funny, making me feel at ease. Steve was also very nice and personable, I felt comfortable talking to him even at 0700 in the morning when I woke him to check on the status of my car (3 hour time difference). My point is...he answered the phone at 0700 his time because he takes care of his customers. Thank you Steve :) And then there is Siji, the fastest driver they have...with the biggest smile to match! He was wonderful, contacted me throughout the trip and presented me with my car; I couldnt believe how good it looked! Everything was great. The employees at FHT really care about their customers; this is refreshing. I am lucky I was referred to them and will be recommending them to anyone who needs auto transport in the future.
