My experience shopping for my wedding dress at Ferri Formal’s was wonderful! The ladies are terrific – very accommodating and pleasant. Penny altered my dress and made it look as though it was created especially for me Since purchasing my dress I have referred all my friends to make Ferri’s their first stop when shopping for a dress. My mother and I found our dream gowns at Ferri’s. The service we received was way beyond my expectations, and the whole experience of finding my wedding gown was what I’ve always dreamt of. My gown was so unique, and I still haven’t seen one that even compares to it! I’ve received so many compliments on its beauty and uniqueness. The staff was so friendly and courteous to us that it seemed like we’ve known them for years. I felt like a one-of-a-kind bride. more

Awful. A flower-girl dress for my wedding was purchased at this store. A beautiful $250 dress, which in my opinion is quite a pricey dress for a three year old...but it was so beautiful we went with it! We ordered this dress in January with an early April delivery date. Needless to say a week out from my wedding we have no dress...and no one from the store can provide a decent answer as to why there was such a delay. My bridesmaid who is the little girl's mother tried for nearly six weeks to get a straight answer as to when the dress would arrive....to no avail. When she indicated that she was nervous about the arrival and alterations because the dress was quite expensive the owner informed her that $250 was in fact not an expensive flower girl dress. 10 days before the wedding my friend was returned her deposit and we actually purchased a lovely dress for $25 and received excellent customer service...at Burlington Coat Factory! :) But my friend continues to get phone calls since the dress came in (1 week before the wedding) to see the "lovely" dress. I guess I would just advise people that the communication when a mistake is made is awful. Either you receive no phone call, have to keep following up yourself or get a different answer from different people in the store. I purchased some accessories at another bridal store in the area and when a mistake was made the owner immediately called me to let me know about the problem and to give me options. No such effort was ever made by Ferri Formals in this situation.I just do not think this is a stress any bride needs a week before their wedding, especially when the dress is purchased so far in advance. more

I purchased my Vera Wang bridal gown from Ferri Formals two years ago. Marylu and Lena were extremely helpful, friendly and honest. The service while trying on the gowns was impeccable, they not only made me comfortable and relaxed but they also made sure my mother and sister were comfortable as well. I had all ten of my bridesmaids order their gowns from this shop and each one of them had a positive and pleasant experience Marylu, Lena and the rest of the shop's staff were an important part of making my wedding day as special and beautiful as it was. I now am a returning customer. I will not bring my alterations of any gown or dress to anyone else but Lena and her staff of expert seamstresses. Ferri Formals gave me the most personal and detailed attention when buying my wedding gown. They have an extensive and beautiful selection of wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses. Their staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable and made my dress fittings comfortable and fun! To top it off, they pretty much had to rebuild the dress I bought since it was too small and the work they did made the dress that much more beautiful and unique. They really gave me extraordinarily personal attention and I would recommend them to anyone buying a wedding gown or bridesmaid dress. They became an integral part of my wedding planning experience- I wouldn't have gone anywhere else! more

This was my first stop in looking for my wedding dress. After viewing several dresses, I realized, this store does not cater to anyone roughly over size 6. I am a size 16, so when dresses with an elegant design on them, that dress certainly does not look the same when it is stretched to a size 16 !!! I tried to have a sense of humor about it. The staff tried to force me to make a down payment on any dress I liked and they would order my size, however, the catch was, after I spend $2000, I would only be stuck with store credit. The icing on the cake was when the staff told me to bring someone smaller with me next time. Not only did she lose my business, I will make sure to spread the word to all future brides. There are so many more bridal shops out there that will treat you the way you deserve to be treated, size 6 or 16 !! more

We went there to find Bridesmaid dresses and she was shoving Vera Wang dresses in our fashes even though we had told her many times we didn't want Vera Wang. We did end up choosing dresses there and they were very expensive, and they charged us $20 extra for what they called a "Rush" order. Then their alterations are $60 and when one of the bridesmaids went to pick up her dress at the specified time they had not even started on her alterations, another bridesmaid was told they couldnt' guarantee her dress would be ready for the wedding!!! I would not reccomend this place at all. more

I bought my wedding dress through Ferri's last year, and they were great! Trying on dresses was fun; lots of personalized attention and they have a large selection of gowns in a variety of price ranges. Alterations and fittings all went smoothly, and the dress turned out beautifully on my big day! more

The dresses in this bridal shoppe are beautiful. They even carry some of the top designers like Vera Wang which is a bit out of my price range. They also have other beautiful, less expensive dresses but these are also more expensive than other places. The staff were weird. They kind of followed me around and stared alot which made me really nervous. I left there in a hurry. more
