This is the best place anyone can ever imagine to bring your beloved pet. When I got my first dog, he had kennel cough. Within a day or two, the dog was completely different and his cough went away. Everytime I had any concern with my dog, they took care of it with the best interest. Everyone has such a wonderful attitude. My dog got excited everytime I pulled up. He'd start wagging his tail and thumping it in excitement. I don't know what I would have done without going there. If I could give them 100 stars I would. more

Dr. Peter Fernandes and his staff (Donna & Lee) are the most professional group of people I have ever met! We have been taking our children (pets) for 16 years and we have been very pleased. When we go out of town, Jake our Chocolate Lab stays there because he's 15 yrs old and we don't trust anyone else. Dr. Fernandes...Jake, Miko & Pepper loves you! Charlie, Ira and Alysse does too! You are the BEST!!! more

After being raped with the bill every time I took my pets to Knowles Animal Clinic, and not to mention waiting an hour+ even with appointment, I decided to try a vet closer to home. I chose Aardvark because of all the positive reviews from previous clients. They were great. The staff was friendly and professional (unlike the rude chongas at Knowles), I didn't have to wait forever to be seen, and best of all, the doctor did everything himself rather than writing out orders for the vet techs to follow-impressive. They are open on Saturdays which is also a big plus in my book. If you like a super friendly vet that's going to engage in idle chatter with you, Dr. Fernandes is not it (or maybe he was just having a bad day), but he is great with the animals and that's what truly matters, to me, at least. I would recommend him. more

I have had many dogs and cats over the past 25 or so years and Dr Fernandes is our vet because you can see his demeanor when he is looking at your pet and tell that he is not just looking for just the obvious but for anything that might affect the animal.It is a 6th sense with lots of knowledge and yrs of experience! I know when I go there he will figure out what is wrong the first time and fix it. Dr. Fernandes and his staff are the best. I would never trust another vet with my pets. I've been taking my pets to aardvark animal hospital since 1984 and we have had nothing but incredible satisfaction and have had the luxury of having a world class veterinarian taking care of our pets. more

We have been using Aardvark Hospital for more then 20 years , we have a;always had a great experience with our present pet nikko and with our past lucky , we feel very comfortable taking our pets to his office and would strongly recommend him , we do not know what will do when he stops practicing ,I very satisfied customer .. more

The dr and his staff at Aardvark animal clinic are the best in Miami. I have changed vets to accommodate where I live, and I am just not happy without Dr. Fernandes. He has taken care of my two years old shepherd who already has incontinence. I will travel 50 miles if I have to, to keep my animals with Dr. Fernandes. more

The staff and Vet, Dr. Fernandes don't get any better than this! The quality of care that Dr. Fernandes offers is top notch and you never have to worry about how they will handle you and your pet. As the "mama" of two dogs, I have had my share of visits with broken legs requiring surgery, gland issues and arthritis. With each sick visit, believe it or not, I got follow up phone calls to check on how my animals were doing! I love this Vet and his entire staff, if they cared for children, I'd bring my daughter to Dr. Fernandes!!! more
