Fall 2007 Ferguson Gardens did a major renovation on my yard and guaranteed the plantings for one year. A number of plants did not make it through the winter. When called in the spring I was told they would come out and replace them. After several missed appointments, finely in early summer they showed up. To my dismay they had ONE plant the person ripped it into three pieces and planted it (them) when asked about the others he replied they weren?t sure what they had planted but knew now and would be back with in a week with the rest of them. I have not seen them again and still have several empty spots in the front yard landscaping over one year latter.
Additionally prior to them starting I had the lot line, in ground sprinkler system and underground utilities locations flagged & painted. They cut my cable & phone three or four times. They cut the in ground sprinkler system in a couple of places and destroyed two or three heads. They cut the main line and did not repair and was found in the spring when the system was turned back on. They told me they would reimburse me for the repair and I am still waiting to be reimbursed. I have mailed & faxed Ferguson Gardens copies of the paid receipt several times with no response.
During construction they lost track of one of the in ground control boxes for the sprinkler system in the back yard and buried it. They thought it was located in one location and after digging two holes gave up and said the boss would contact me. It never happened! Again at my expense I had the sprinkler company come out and locate it for them and the sun faded flag is still in the ground awaiting their return.
Over all the work they did is very nice and turned out as described on the drawings they submitted when we signed the contract. After they get your money their follow up and customer service is terrible!
You can rest assured it will be very difficult to justify allowing Ferguson Gardens to do any more work for me!
Pros: Happy with overall job, turned out as discribed and invisioned!! Weather delays not their fault!!
Cons: Spent Severial Thousand Dollars With NO Customer Service or Followup After The Final Payment????
