Poor customer service 6/13/2011

I entered the showroom at 4:50 pm and asked the receptionist if the showroom was open to the public and she replied yes but they were closing at 5. I knew exactly what I wanted and thought it should not take very long for me to select what I needed and cash out. So I proceeded to pick up the pen and sign in and she said we are about to close and gave me a glare. I was taken aback and thought well, if they don't want my money then ok and walked out at 4:54pm. I went home and bought my bath fixtures at Home Depot online and spent $478 which could have been spent at Ferguson had they wanted my business. I am in the retail business and we will be happy to help any customer that comes in even 1 min until close and stay as late as we need to ensure our customers are happy. My experience at Ferguson was truly disappointing and I will not be back. more
