I've lived here my entire life, and can honestly say I've been EVERYWHERE! I know quality when i see (taste) it. I think in the year or so that Feraro's has been open I've eaten there more times than any other pizzeria my whole life. I'm a fan of plain cheese slices. It's gotten to the point where I don't even let them put them back in the oven to cook fully, which coincedentally, I highly recommend. The Taylor Ham sandwich is DELICIOUS! I actually had to get talked into ordering it by one of the staff, I couldn't believe what I was missing. As weird as this sounds, lately I've been dipping my slices in mustard. Hear me out, don't knock it until you try it. I saw that the Post Dispatch ran a pretty good article on it a couple of weeks ago, and I would assume that's why my last few visits there seemed like visits to a crazy house. I was there two weekends in a row and had to wait a little bit more than usual. It was a little annoying, but I guess that's the price you pay when everyone finds out about your little secret place. On the plus side, the owner was gracious enough to offer everyone 50% off their next visit and apologized for the waiting time. You know a place is good when it is that packed
Pros: AMAZING food, friendly staff, late hours
Cons: parking can sometimes be a drag on weekends, expect to a wait a little on weekends
