All the workers did very well. Very impressed how well everyone worked. It was effortless for us (as homeowners) very pleased with the roof. Gutters look very good. Lots of neighbors commented on home. more

The work crews could use better supervision. We found several gutter nails in our yard with the lawn mower. Mike was a great salesman. He made the transaction very easy. more

Award-winning, affordable work 4/23/2012

I needed a new roof on so I looked at different building companies. Fentress Builders came out and beat everyone on price, and they were highly rated so we decided to use them. Mr Carter was more than a pleasure to work with and they did a great job. Fentress Builders is the preferred contractor for 46 different insurance companies, has earned 17 super service awards, and has A+ ratings on review sites. Their customers will speak for them-they do great work at very competitive prices. more

You pay for things one way or another, so I'd rather pay the right people the first time. 3/30/2012

Can I give them a 6? Fentress Builders is phenomenal. First, if there are any issues, and every builder has them, they are all from the subcontractors and not Fentress themselves. And anytime there were issues, they followed up and got them fixed. For example, our company is building a restaurant. One of the subcontractors cut the shelves the wrong size and put in the pegs to have them hung. When they installed it, the entire cabinet collapsed and four hundred dollars worth of alcohol dumped on the ground. The subcontractor just offered to rebuild the cabinets, so we were like, "Who's gonna pay for the booze?" Fentress made them rebuild the cabinets and billed them for the alcohol. They made sure everything is alright. They're just a premium enterprise. You do pay more for it, but their service is worth it. If I call with a request, they're on it in 24 hours and it's taken care of without me ever having to repeat myself. more

When we got our first hailstorm, Fentress Builders were wonderful in assisting us. I wanted decorative shingles for our association house and Fentress Builders did a great job in putting them in. Everyone in our association was very pleased with the way the shingles looked. It added so much to the quality of the home! My second encounter with them was when we had a 2nd hailstorm that did a lot of damage. Mike Carter was extremely helpful and was very easy to work with. He was wonderful working with the insurance company and always answers all of my questions. Their workers are all very good and they work hard to get the job done on time. more

Worth every penny 2/7/2012

I was referred to this company by a friend of mine & couldn't be more pleased. I had a leak in my roof & just figured a few shingles needed to be replaced but it was actually a huge crack. My attic was starting to produce mold & mildew. When I called in, I knew I'd be taken care of. They offered to tarp the roof the same day & the estimator came out and gave me a Free Estimate the very next day. The work was done in less than a week & we're mold-free! more

I would recommend Fentress Builders to anybody. I have had experiences with them since 2005, when I bought my home. They did extensive remodeling repairs and were instrumental in the roofing, inside painting, windows, and plumbing. They performed an emergency plumbing repair for me when I was on vacation. It was completely resolved by the time I got home from my trip. They have treated me fairly, price wise. The cleanup was always done to my satisfaction and I have never had any problems with them whatsoever. more

Without a Doubt the best contractor I have ever worked with 2/3/2012

After the hailstorm a few months ago, I was very cautious in my search for a contractor as I have heard some stories of fly by night companies taking advantage of people. I am SOOO glad I found Fentress Builders, not only was my estimator John very knowledgeable, but he was very friendly & punctual as well they did everything with my insurance company so I didn't have to worry about it. I will definitely use them in my next project. more

Fentress Builders are great. They do a really good job. I am really happy with them. We have used them several times on different projects like painting trim, replacing siding, and roof work. They did everything they said they were going to do. The owner came out to make sure everything was going ok. They have good prices and I have recommended them to others. more

This is to recommend Fentress Builders and Fentress Roofers. We have a suburban home on the north side of Indianapolis. We had hail damage in April 2007.\r Fentress Builders worked with our insurance company and handled the claim and work got started, replacing the roof, the stucco siding and painting.\r In my opinion, this is an absolutely trustworthy company! more

Leaky roof covered promptly by Fentress 1/23/2011

One of the members of our HOA had his roof damaged because of a rainstorm. He experienced flooding in his porch room and had water running down the walls and wet spots appearing on the ceiling in the next room. more

They Were Awesome !!!!!! 8/24/2010

My neighbors recommended Fentress Builders because they had a good experience with them , I have always been skeptical of contractors because of horror stories I have heard. But I figured I would give them a chance. I have to admit they exceeded on all aspects of getting me a new roof. Not only were they on time but they left not a single nail or board out of place. And on top of that they filed the insurance claim for me.\r The next time I need any type of repair or remodeling done, they will be the 1st company I call. more
