This is a must-do attraction in Dubuque, also known as the 4th Street Elevator. It travels on block up the side of the bluff. There are 2 cars that run on tracks that seem to go up in the air. It was built by a man about a century ago who used it to go home at lunch time so he had time take a nap. Kids love it! The view of the Mississipi and the neighboring states is great from the top.
