Fellini Pizzeria

Fellini's is our family's favorite pizza place in Providence. Their red onion and pepperoni pizza is probably our absolute favorite pizza in the world. We love the variety of toppings, the Italian sodas, and the pleasant counter staff. There is also an old-fashioned pinball machine in the shop, and we enjoy playing while we wait for our pizza. more

The pizza here is really good. Great specialty pizzas. The prices are more expensive than many places, but its worth it for the taste. However, be careful when using a credit card. I was charged twice after writing in a tip for home delivery. It took forever to the charge to come through to begin with and then I was charged twice! I still haven't gotten a call back from the manager after two weeks. Right now, I don't intend to buy anymore pizza from them. Use cash! more

Fellini is more than just a quick pizza shop; they have an extensive list of ingredients to custom-make a pizza, or several (and I do mean several!) types of popular pizzas sold by the slice. With ingredients as varied as shaved steak, mushrooms, red peppers, fresh buffalo mozzarella, cheddar, Basil, meatball, anchovy, pineapple, grilled chicken, whatever strikes your mood. On a recent trip at Fellini's, we indulged in a simple fresh buffalo mozzarella pizza topped with plum tomatoes, freshly torn basil and just the right touch of garlic and seasonings. It was almost to die for, but then we wanted to try a shaved steak pizza, and that was perfectly cooked, with no discernable fat and seasoned just right. They also have an assortment of salads and sandwiches, as well as many different drinks to choose from. In warm weather, they offer some outdoor seating and it's not unusual to see customers milling around outside, some standing, eating their slices on paper plates. I'd give it 5 stars, but sometimes their produce tastes less than fresh. Still a great deal for the money and one of the best pizzas in town. more

Fellini Pizzeria is located just walking distance from the Providence waterfront bars the Hot Club and the Fish Co. So it is a great place to stop and grab a slice of pizza after a night of drinking, dancing or just chilling on the waterfront. They offer a fairly wide range of options that really hit the spot after a night out. If you are in this area of Providence, make sure to stop by at the end of the evening. more
