From the moment I walked into this building, I could tell that there was a level of classy that I hadn't really seen in a tailor shop before. The room you walk into has a large cutting table with many fabric sample books on it, a couch and many photographs along the walls. The current owner and tailor is Romeo Singca. He took over the business when the previous owner, Tony Felice, passed away. Felice started the business in 1979 and had Romeo come and work for him when he was impressed with a jacket he spotted one of Romeo's costumers wearing. Romeo explains that in this business it is hard to find people to take on the job because young people today do not really get into real tailoring. ""This place is unique, there are not very may places like this. Kid's don't want to start it now, it's hard work."" Romeo explains that they are ""the only tailors doing handmade work."" This tailor shop is definitely one of a kind, and serves the high end costumers of San Diego very well.
