I regret hiring Max Feldman for my Family Law case. He has very questionable billing practices. His secretary told me I couldn't get an accounting of the time he charged me for because he worked on my case, then worked on another case and then came back to mine. Meanwhile, he billed me the minimum 15 minute increment twice! That's some fancy accounting techniques! There was no way to control or try to be conversative with how much of the retainer was being used. He told me I should have money left over after the case was resolved. But he actually never did anything and within the 1st month the retainer was gone and I was in the hole another $800. Because his retainer is non-refundable, when a conflict of interest became known, he refused to refund my money and wouldn't step down. That hurt me pretty bad. I can't say which side he was working for! This is clearly no way to run a business. I might see if I need a permit to picket his business. He seems great at first, at the initial consultantation. But believe me, it's an act, it was all talk and no work. I think that all the good reviews he got sounds like the same person wrote them. I wouldn't be surprised if it was him. You don't want to hire this guy. Pick a name out of a bowl, you'd have better luck!
