BEWARE OF THE PERCEPTION THAT THE FEDEX OFFICE PROVIDES THE BEST ADVICE. FedEx advice for an international shipment led to very high charges (3X the original shipping charges) for tax and duty. Be sure to check the box on the shipping that tax and duty charges be charged to recipient when appropriate to minimize these charges. I have been advised that resolution to disputing the charges after the shipment can take up to two months with no guarantee that they will be reduced! more
