I visited kincos in culver city as I have always done. I started at the information booth to get the info on double sided color copies and the promo sale. I also asked if it would be cheaper if I did it myself on self serve computers, the answer was no. Elizabeth helped me in the back. She began by needing my name and phone number to "give me a quote" on only 200 copies that cost .98 cents. I could figure that out on my fingers. Well she had a calculator and quoted me $400 dollars. I could not believe her. I told her that her numbers were wrong. I guess she was upset because I was very uneasy about giving her my name and number just to get 200 color copies. Well I corrected her on her little incorrect quote. I guess she really got upset. She then rudely gave me the correct price after playing with her her little calculator again. She told me it will be ready in 6 hours for 200 color copies. That's ridiculous. Again, she was already uptset about the phone number thing and the price correction. I left. I went to Office Max. The price was .88 cents. I saved $20.00 and it was ready in about 10 minute. I called to complain to the manager, David, at Kincos he said that old line, "I'm sorry that that happened", "however, we can't always complete customer requests at that time". As if that had anything to do with my complaint about the person that he was suppose to be supervising. He acted as if this was his personal friend. The ridiculous 6 hour wait was the minor issue. It was everything else that his subordinate had done to run off a customer. It's not her store. When I told her that I will go somewhere else, she sarcastically said OK. Like she's paying bills for Kincos, and they don't need my business. Well they have certainly lost my business and as a result of Kincos staff, I found a better place for my small business printing, as well as the other three medical agencies that I Direct.
