The pastries from Fa Da Bakery are delicious. My favorite pastry is the egg custard bun with the sweet topping. The butter bread, egg custards, and roast pork buns are also recommended. They also sell bubble tea that is comparable to the bubble tea sold by the popular tea cafes. Bubble tea is only $2.00 for a small. Pastries range from 40 cents to 1 dollar. more

Fay Da - Main St., Flushing 8/9/2005

This Chinese bakery is relatively cheap and very good. The workers there are pretty quick to help except most of them only speak Chinese. If you're non-Chinese, you're going to have some problems communicating but you can usually get around by pointing and counting with your fingers. Nevertheless, the buns and bread are very good for the price. more
