My new top dive Indian in the city. You know what, scratch that comment, this is just good all around Indian. If you feel you have to pay up at Favorite Indian Restaurant to feel upper class then feel free to waste your money. This place was legit. We devoured our shrimp curry, daal makhni, and tandoori paneer. For lunch or dinner, this place is just chill, nothing to rave about. My new favorite place for weekend dinner with friends or family. more

Favorite Indian Restaurant is Wonderful, place for casual Indian dining. I enjoy Indian food quite a bit,.. Primarily because I'm Indian. We visited this place so we could try out the samosa. The samosa was delicious.. I tried both a saag and karahi paneer. I also had a mango lassi very very thick, but delicious...The staff was very very VERY friendly. very friendly.. we got there LAST MINUTE and they weren't annoyed or anything.. This was nice to see. more

Favorite Indian Restaurant is a wonderful restaurant with very yummy food. They deliver which is great, although a trip to the restaurant is much more fun. The portion sizes are decent - and I have pretty much loved any dish I have ordered, paneer tikka masala is my favourite. The real star of the restaurant is the owner, though. He is so much fun, a little bit spunky - and a perfect host for this place. Don't miss it - you really feel like you have walked into someone's house for dinner and end up having a great time. more

I love Favorite Indian Restaurant! 3/26/2012

I love Favorite Indian Restaurant! We have been regulars for years and it is always reliable. The food is delicious -- I love the chicken Tikka Masala and the Saag Paneer. We had the Vegetable Delight last night which is an exciting new dish to add to my repertoire. The veggies are both well flavored are not at all overcooked -- which is hard to find in Indian cuisine. The service at Joy is great! The waiters are attentive and give good suggestions. The decor is great. We also love to order in from here. more

Favorite Indian Restaurant Is my favorite Indian restaurant in town and I have tried a lot of them. There is nothing bad on the menu. I suggest the tandoori chicken and the chicken curry. The ambiance is wonderful & the staff is attentive. The atmosphere is great. I came her with my family on a Sunday night and it was crazy line out the door and everything 15 min later we got a table and man its was worth the wait 5 stars all day!!!!!! more

Unique Place As Far As Indian Restaurants Go. 1/19/2012

I went Favorite Indian Restaurant for dinner with a couple friends, one of whom is an Indian food fan, and we were very impressed. I was surprised it was crowded considering it was a Monday night but then realized why . . . because it's awesome! We went family style with the chicken masala, spinach, and one other dish that i'm forgetting. Anyways, I was very excited to find an Indian restaurant that was elegant, slightly upscale and would be great for a date night. I'd consider this place unique as far as Indian restaurants go. more

Favorite Indian Restaurant is my new best Indian food restaurant. We were there in the evening and we asked the server for recommendations because we had arrived so late and we wanted our food fast. Our server suggest us CHICKEN TIKKA KABAB, KARHI CHICKEN, Naan & LAMB BIRIYANI It was all great. Good food, good service, good location. Can't ask much more from a restaurant. I will definitely come back here! more

I really enjoyed the butter chicken. 12/1/2011

Order Indian Food Online service at Favorite Indian Restaurant and the food arrived at my door in half an hour! That is great when they're not late in their delivery since I was starving. I ordered the butter chicken, tandoori & chichken biryani. The butter chicken was delicious, but the tandoori even though the chicken was flavorful, it was dry. The food was hot and fresh here. The portions were perfect for my girlfriend and me to share. I really enjoyed the butter chicken. more

I can't wait to try other items on their menu! 11/10/2011

I come from an Indian family with amazing cooks. Unfortunately, they live an hour away and I can't always get the home cooking I crave! I am SO happy that I tried Favorite Indian Restaurant. The most amazing Indian food I've had away from home, EVER. I had the Chicken dishes, the shahi paneer, baigan bharta and hot-hot naan. The food was so fresh, spiced to perfection and delicious!!! My experience with most Indian restaurants is that they use a lot of packaged Indian masalas filled with sodium and MSG- Favorite Indian Restaurant does not! I can't wait to try other items on their menu! more
