Last Year I discovered Faulkner's Pumpkin Farm in Lee's Summit, Missouri. It costs $5 per person and those under 2 years old are free. They have a petting zoo, hayrides, and a corn maze. This past weekend was Grandparent Appreciation Weekend and the grandparents were only $4 and they had different activities. They also have games on the weekends, not just for the children but also adults. Adults could participate in a contest where you carried a small pumpkin between your knees to the finish line, trying to win a carving pumpkin for your child. Kids can play on tractors, play scarecroquet, and do a bean bag toss. You can have lunch at the farm for a small fee. You can either order your hot dogs already roasted or you can roast your own over an open fire as well as make smore's. I can't wait to go again next year.
