Fatz Cafe is located on the 11E Bypass on the far Eastern edge of Greeneville. It bills itself as a neighborhood restaurant but the current menu features a lot of "low country" items like Shrimp cakes and Shrimp and Grits.
I had the shrimp which were absolutely delicious. The shrimp were huge and were just lightly breaded. My husband and the pecan-crusted trout and my sister had teriyaki chicken. All of us were happy. To be honest, we could have made a meal out of the appetizers. They had some original ones, like shrimp cakes and shrimp-stuffed lobsters along with the usually buffalo tenders.
Plan on spending about $10 a person for supper. The service is great, but plan on waiting if you're dining on a weekend evening.
