After getting hosed for 2 back to back bills from the local dealer on repairs to our SUV each totaling over 3,000.00, each related in such a way as both could have been completed together for at least half the cost... I decided to give F.A.T.S. a try after receiving a recommendation of praise from a neighbor. We needed a bunch of work done to an old mercedes... I couldnt believe the thorough nature of F.A.T.S. approach. They coordinated so we got cut rates on all the inter-related portions of the work needing done. We did get a bill for less than half what I assumed it'd be even from them... more like a third of what I'd have expected from the dealer. I had some good service across the road at the parts store & thought I'd try the service dept. to get my wife's old car fixed. It's had both low and high idle issues. Spoke to Goef on the phone, he seemed a bit short & rude. I decided to write out the problems I had experience and drive my own truck down first since the wife's old car has a very high idle issue. Geof was short, rude and almost even crass at the idea of discussing the car's problems. He kept cutting me off and wouldn't even read what problem's I'd written up about the car. He said that it was not possible to speak to a mechanic, and that he was the shop manager. I asked then you must be a mechanic, to which he said he may or may not have been to classes.
