Wonderful Experiance 3/16/2011

They took the hardest part of moving and actually made it the easiest. (I wish the phone company and store delivery personnel had their work ethic!) Please tell them that the Boyle family thanks them from the bottom of our hearts! The only reason I did not write immediately was that we did not have internet service until today. Again, thank you all for a wonderful experience. more

Diligence. 3/10/2011

Our sincere thanks to each of you for the excellent, professional and caring job moving the 'bath tub' from our home to the barn! It is obvious that 'Joe's crew' is a very cohesive team and each one is very professional and friendly! Special thanks to Germain whom I initially spoke with regarding this project and all details. Kenny, Freddie and Dennis did a great job. They were friendly, respectful and professional. They worked tirelessly from the time that they arrived until the job was completed. Joe was very kind and respectful and I soon began to feel comfortable. The furniture was packed very competently and my mom and I were off to Maryland for the night in no time. The furniture arrived in New York as planned and was unloaded without a problem. I just wanted to recognize your team that came to my moms for the move. They were great! I would recommend your company to anyone who needed a moving service. more

I'm recommending a mover for you guys - they moved my parents from Orlando, FL to Boston in December for a pretty good price; more importantly though, they were absolutely meticulous wrapping and making sure nothing got damaged. We've moved across country three or four times, and locally countless times - they are the most amazing movers we've had by far. more

We hired your folks to move several rooms of furniture back on Memorial Day weekend, from Cumberland, RI with a stop in Mansfield, MA and the destination in Malden, MA. I wanted to take a minute to compliment the hard-working gentlemen on this crew: Francisco, Octavio, and Adelson. They were extremely professional, polite, organized, and efficient. We were very pleased that everything went smoothly and according to schedule. We had a great experience with your company which was based completely on our experience with your employees. The great service started with my first call 1/10/2011

I just wanted to take this opportunity to compliment the crew and Ann from Father and Son for the great service in moving furniture from Barrington RI to Ipswich MA. The great service started with my first call to Ann to inquire about services, available dates and cost. She was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. My sister was on the Barrington end of the move. She called to tell me that I had picked a great company - she was very impressed with their service. I made some changes on the day of the move to the original contents to be moved. Ann called me with the updated cost and verification that this was authorized by me. She was so pleasant it really made my day. The moving crew arrived in Ipswich and in no time had moved the furniture into our home. They were very efficient and friendly. I picked your company from the phone book because of the family aspect in the write-up. It really made an impression on me. I was not disappointed and I would recommend your company to anyone who asks. more

We truly are grateful. 1/4/2011

Thank you so much for allowing the time for your employees to help load and transport several bins of food from our office to Interfaith Social Services. When I told Interfaith that we were bringing food to their pantry they couldn't thank us enough as their shelves are quite bare and there is a huge need for their help. I can't tell you how easy you made this process for us as we usually loaded many individual bags into a van and then unloaded at the food pantry. We certainly appreciate your help! And our many thanks for Jane for arranging this. We truly are grateful. Please extend our thanks to all that helped. more

I hired your firm; a truck and three men for four hours. They arrived promptly at the stated time of 11:00 a.m., were incredibly personable and professional. The entire move took less than four hours and I was pleased to pay a $100 for a tip for the three movers. There were no overcharges, and I didn?t lift a finger. Each piece of furniture was wrapped in storage blankets and taped with duck tape. There was absolutely no damage. more

In late March I contracted with your company for a move from Miami Beach to Canaan, Ct. My contact was Ed Howell and I want you to know what a great employee you have. From the beginning he was reassuring (moving can sometimes be fraught with pitfalls) and the move went smoothly. Ed delivered (personally) boxes, paper and tape to my apartment on a Sunday as he knew I had very little time to pack and get ready for the move the following week or so. He followed up on everything and the sub contractors Father and Son were excellent also. Jose Torres was in charge and could not have been more professional and helpful. His two helpers in Florida, Earl Sauders and David Ferell were nothing short of wonderful. It was a pleasure doing business with your firm and I wish you continued success. more

Father & Son Moving helped us out at the last minute 12/8/2010

Father & Son Moving helped us out at the last minute when we were in a bind because our movers never showed up. We called them to see if they could help us out that day and they showed up a couple hours later! They did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for affordable, professional movers. more
