These guys were on time, fast, accurate, didn't break anything. Although it was little disappointing to pay extra charge for one hour of travel time and 10% surcharge for fuel when we only moved half a mile away, overall we were very satisfied and fit into our planned budget. more

These guys were awesome! They were referred by a friend for our recent move from Orlando, FL to Boston. Price was more than fair, but more importantly the crew they sent was very careful with our things and did a great job on the packing so I wasn't a nervous wreck about things getting broken. We've used other big companies in the past (United and Gentle Giant) but would always have something go wrong - if it wasn't a damaged desk, it was being completely MIA about returning calls. F&S did stick to their ""small company customer service"" and we respect that. Highly highly recommend these guys, would definitely use them again! more

Hi! I had your movers come today to move a very heavy television from our upstairs bedroom to the garage and a wall unit from a downstairs bedroom to upstairs. The 3 men that came were awesome!!!!! They were professional, punctual and very careful not to bang up the walls. I would recommend them to anyone I know who are in need of movers. Thanks again. more

These guys were very, very good to us. Once we found an apartment after the house fire, the 4 of us decided we needed to get movers. I found Father and Son Movers in the yellow pages and called them to see if they could move us the next morning at 8am. Since we had had a fire, they made us a priority and said they could have a truck there with 3 guys for 110 an hour. This was way better than the other movers had quoted us, plus they billed by the half hour rather than by the hour. They showed up 15 minutes early, they let us help move our stuff which cut the time in half, and let us know that they could move all the boxes into the appropriate rooms, however if they moved everything into the living room, it would take less time and save us money. They did a great job, didn't pad the bill and were really nice guys to boot. The move was over and done with including travel time in 5.5 hours. Plus I love their slogan. I just want to send a quick note of appreciation for the service I received this past Sunday (Feb 7, 2010). It started with the first phone call I made to Anna in Brockton. Anna was very courteous and helpful considering I was making a last minute request on Thursday for Sunday. The team that came out to move us were Homero, Angilo and Beta, They were prompt and courteous and had me packed and moved in a professional manner well within the estimated time frame. Your team was top notch. They worked at a steady pace, were very helpful in placing our furniture where we wanted it, and they were incredibly careful. I watched as they moved many large pieces into some tight places and didn't ding the furniture or the walls once. Their work definitely made our move go easier. more

Chico and his crew arrived at my home in Saugus, MA on 4/15 to move my family's belongings out of my recently sold home into a storage facility. They were prompt, quick and very professional. Was told to go a little high on the weight, so that I ""wouldn't have to pay extra"" Time comes for the truck to arrive, they can't tell me how much my stuff weighs to pay less. TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEPTS . And don't expect them to communicated clearly with you either. Showed up two days late to pick up my stuff, I had already had to leave. Kept being told they were coming. Not informed of delays. Totally disgusted with this company. Are there negative stars to give companies? If so, they would get 5. more

A.D., Dennis and Dennis moved us on February 26th in the pouring rain, and they couldn't have been more competent, hardworking and caring. Each of them was truly outstanding. They had great postive attitiudes any time there were any difficulties, and they worked together to solve them. They paid extraordinary attention to detail,removing lightbulbs so they wouldn't break in transit, being very careful with any delicate items, and wiping down items that got wet in the rain. They were so pleasant and easy going, and at the end of the day, we were actually sad to see them go. I'm sure they were exhausted at the end of the day, but they took the time to carefully put together our beds and ask just where we wanted things placed. At a point when I would have been ready to call it a day if I were them, they asked if my mother had a bedskirt she wanted to put between her boxspring and mattress. They didn't have to do this, and it was that kind of thoughtfulness that really made them special. I would give them my highest recommendation. In an age where so many people are careless about the jobs they do, Dennis, Dennis and A.D. were a breath of fresh air. more

First of All, I would like to Thank Anna for her Customer Care inter-action that we had in putting this move together along with the three men whom gave my personal belongings proper care . The Weather Conditions weren't great at all that day It was very nasty I would say the least and the Driving was the same. But with the proper planning from the Anna-Fathers and Sons Moving company sure made my life easier. more
