Weird spices... 2/8/2009

Frankly, I don?t see what all the hype is about. The burgers are huge, no doubt about that, but they?re dry as a popcorn flatulation and the fries are limp. And at Fat Mo?s, they use some kind of spice I can?t identify that?s really weird and makes everything taste funky. I?ve tried to place it and all I can come up with is a mixture of paprika and somebody?s feet. And it?s on everything, too. Pros: Lots of fat and meat Cons: Tastes like dirt. more

Terrible burger 12/22/2008

Burger was over cooked, dry and mealy seemed to be totally devoid of any seasoning. I might have just been on a bad night, but the burger was so bad I doubt I will give them another chance more

No Mo'...Fat Mo's for me !! 5/22/2008

I used to love Fat Mo's on Murfreesboro Rd., but I guess 5 yrs ago it changed ownership and like many of the Fat Mo's locations, Mo don't own them anymore. The food taste basically the same, but the service has gone way down. The girl that ordered in front of me had a big hair on the top of her fries. I ordered regular fries, but instead of regular fries I got a cold order of seasoned fries, probably belonged to the girl that brought her's back with a hair on them. The family behind us had their order wrong as well. Service was slow and they were not too concerned about it. If their quality of service has gone down that much, then it just makes you wonder about how well they are handling the food in the back. BEST burger!!! 7/16/2007

This place is great. I used to go to the one on Murf. road all the time. The only thing that would be better is if you could get a cold beer with the burger. Great owners! It's nice to have a burger that is actually seasoned for a change. I moved from Nashville years ago and still miss Mo's. Pros: burgers! Cons: no beer more

The ONLY place to get the best burger in Nashville 11/8/2006

After you've had a Fat Mo's burger...and I mean any of their burgers...you will feel ashamed for McDonalds, Burger King, etc! I'm not a huge burger fan, but when I get the craving, I have to go to Fat Mo's. Plus, their seasoned fries are the perfect compliment. Pros: The Best Drive-In Burger place, bar none Cons: Not the best ambience, but who cares with food this good! more

So-So 4/14/2005

I was not overly impressed with Fat Mo's. Their burger did not stand out. It just tasted like any other hamburger to me. They got my order wrong too. When I got home, I realized they'd given me PRUNE JUICE instead of Diet Coke, and they put onions on my burger and no mustard, contrary to my request. I was rather disappointed, what with all the hoop-lah over this burger joint. Pros: cheap, fast Cons: mediocre, wrong order more

Fat Moe's, the worlds best 7/12/2004

I am a Hamburger conoseur (of sorts), and I have had burgers from places that claim they have the best, but never found one that even comes close to Fat Moe's. There are corprate style fast food burgers, then there is the little guy tring to make a buck. Corprate burger watch out, the Super Fat Mo is going to knock your buns right off. There are enough good words in the world to describe a Fat Mo burger. And by the way mmmmm mmmmm gooood! more

Mmmm Mmmm Good 11/11/2003

Man I love Fat Mo's I only visit them once a month for my guilty meal. Last night I had their Little Mo Combo with spicy fries. There is nothing bad to say. The burger had just a hint of spice and loaded with onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup and mustard. I omitted the cheese and mayo but it was still sinful. Happy Eats. more

While no one in Nashville questions the magnitude and quality of Fat Mo's amazing burgers and fries, one of the real sleepers on the menu is the most awesome, absolutely gigantic hotdog this side of Chicago or New Jersey!! Indulge yourself... this is one amazing dog... and the guys at Fat Mo's will customize it with any of their many burger toppings. Hey, no one meant for you to have your gall bladder forever!! more

Tastes like yesteryear 1/21/2003

If you want a burger in a hurry, drive on. But if you want a burger that is cooked to order and tastes like the good, old-fashion kind you remember from the drugstore soda fountain, you will find it here. Fries seasoned to perfection and juicy burgers that will require at least 3 napkins, and wash it all down with a huge paper cup (not styrofoam) of your favorite soda will put you in the mood to get hungry again. It's not fancy. They don't charge you for a playground and decorative surroundings. If you go away hungry, it's your own fault. I highly recommend it. Pros: Great burgers, Cooked to order, Not fancy, just good! Cons: A bit out of the way, Not enough locations more
