Fast Water Heater Co

A Fast Water Heater contractor came to my home to fix my water heater. Charged me $139.00 for the initial service call and told me my warranty for parts and services had expired. He said the repair part from Rheem was going to cost $260.00 plus shipping & handling. I was then told I'd need to pay an additional $99.00 service call for the return trip to install the needed part. When I called the Fast Water Heater Co. to say that I didn't know about the $99.00 additional return fee, I was told that Fast Water Heater Contractors never carry Rheem parts in their services vehicles. I said if that's the case why not just tell people upfront that they will be paying $238.00 in service call fees. At that point I told the company I would look elsewhere for service. Later I called Rheem myself and the part is under warranty resulting in no charge. Now Fast Water Heater Co. called to say they can install the part but I would now have to pay an installation charge of $260.00 plus their $99.00 return service call fee. Yikes, not a reputable company in my experience. more

Tech arrived on time, very friendly. The install was quick and painless. We told him that we run a daycare out of our home, he was quiet (was here at nap time) and not one of our children woke up!!! Cleaned up and was out the door in 2 hours. Thanks Fast Water Heater Co. more

"Great" all around! "Mike" arrived 15 minutes early, ahead of the 2-hour window, and with minimal effort emtied the old water heater and hauled it out, He installed the new one, recommended that we earthquake-proof it but didn't require it, and within 40 minutes he was done, complete with new fittings & hoses. We called Monday morning and had a temporary water heater by mid-afternoon. Ryan (the tech) called from the road to confirm arrival, arrived when expected--a nice 2-hr window, not 4 like other services we've used. He was fast, knowledgeable, answered my questions, got along with the cat, and cleaned up the area nicely afterwards. He told me how to file for the federal and state tax credits for the new energy-efficient, no-maintenance tankless water heater and explained how it would cut my annual bill, and during installation both offered options and accepted input cheerfully. Even with my changes (ie, condenser relocated, some piping) the estimate and final bill were within $250 of each other! We're very happy with the service and recommend Fast Water Heaters without reservation. We'll talk to them about future plumbing work. more

The serviceman was very patient and knowledgeable. I know they are trying to make money but once he was here we kept hearing and you are going to need this and you are going to need this and you are going etc. The cost just kept going up. I recommend doing a lot of research before buying a new one to determine all the costs involved. The heater so far works great. more

He was very courteous and informative, answering all my questions so I could rest assured that I was getting the right water heater for the right price.
