The Fashion Exchange TRULY breaks all stereotypical images one might hold of a consignment shoppe. It is, in fact, a virtual oasis of exquisite, gently worn (often new, with the original tags) designer clothing. The clothing is in impeccable condition and priced at a fraction of what you would pay in a high-end boutique or department store. The jewelry and accessories, which the owner carefully selects from collections she finds in New York, are reason enough to spend a quiet afternoon, perusing the shop. The atmosphere is tranquil and unhurried, with none of the high-pressure sales-pitches you endure in other clothing/ jewelry stores. Many of the customers have been loyal patrons for 20+ years: a true testiment to the enduring appeal of The Fashion Exchange. It is WELL worth a trip to visit this one-of-a kind shop, but allow yourself plenty of time to explore. This is not a shopping experience you are likely to rush through! more

I've been to the exchange on may occassions. The clothing is superior to most consignment shops. What I like most is the vast selection of both jewelery and clothing and someone handy to help me put it all together. The Fashion Exchange is an upscale consignment shop selling women's fashions, shoes, handbags, hats, & jewelry. I love being able to get name brands here at such terrific prices. The clothes are beautifully maintained and I've gotten a few perfect evening gowns here at incredible discounts. One caveat: be happy with what you purchase or let them know right away, returns at a consignment shop are not like returns at a regular retail store. When things are on sale the prices are even more fantastic! more

THis is a good place to come to for items you normally cannot afford. The prices are very good, and she even has sales. There is a jewelry section that has some great pieces and all the clothes are in great shape. You can also work with her to sell some of your items on consignment if your wish. Parking lot right on route 25 is convenient. more

THIS IS THE ONLY ADULT CLOTHING CONSIGNMENT SHOP I KNOW OF IN THIS AREA. YOU BRING YOUR ITEMS IN FOR THEM TO LOOK AT AND THEY WILL TAKE WHAT THEY THINK THEY CAN SELL FOR A PERIOD OF 60 DAYS. ONCE TIME IS UP YOU CAN EITHER PICK UP THE ITEMS THAT DIDN'T SELL OR DONATE THEM TO A GOOD CAUSE. YOU ARE FREE TO COLLECT ANY MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME. THEY ALSO TAKE IN ACCESSORIES IN NEW OR LIKE NEW CONDITION. I HAVE HAD PRETTY GOOD LUCK HERE. I GUESS IT IS TRUE- ONE MANS TRASH IS ANOTHER MANS TREASURE. more
