Love this store! 6/26/2014

Fasel and Sons has the most quality inventory I have ever seen. There is no comparison to any other nursery on the south side. The people there are so friendly and helpful, and what hard workers they are. You never see anyone standing around, they're always moving the merchandise and helping the customers. Friendly service and quality products are what I look for when I shop. I have found that at Fasel and Sons over and over again. It's a pleasure just driving by the store on Cicero Ave. The store really livens up the neighborhood. I am a frequent customer and hope that Fasel and Sons never goes out of business. They are a much needed staple in Oak Lawn. more

Fasel & Sons Garden Ctr 9/10/2012

We have purchased a large number of plants from Fasel's and never had a problem. The few plants that died we brought back and they replaced them. Keep your receipts for a year or two after you plant and you should have no problems with plant warranties. The employees have answered all our questions and when they did not know the answer they pointed us in the right direction. Prices are middle of the road but you can find some great specials if you get on their mailing list. Plants have been top quality so we can't complain about the prices. more

I felt like a bother 5/26/2009

I had called 3 Nurseries to price perlite and thought I was getting the best price by $3.00 at Fasel's. After, I got there I was mis quoted the price and told that it was out of stock. When I questioned it, stating that I had just called, the employee said she knew because I had talked to her. No apology and no offering to order what I needed. Maybe I just got an employee on an off day, but I didn't find anyone to be particularly helpful. I actually felt like I was bothering them with my questions. more

Fasel & Sons 7/14/2007

This is hands down the best garden center EVER! Everyone is pleasant, courteous and go abobve and beyond to help. I moved into the area last year and had no previous experience with gardening or lawncare.I now have a gorgeous yard and garden thanks to these guys! There were a lot of calls and visits and they never tired of my ignorance, just helped me along. Sandy is the best! more

Fasel & Sons Garden Center 3/31/2006

Fasel's is a great little neighborhood garden center. Though they are not quite as big as Sid's in Palos, they do have quite a variety of plants and merchandise available. The people there are very easy to talk to and will give you honest and up-to-date information on the care of your garden as well as recommendations to handle any situation. What I like best is that they have a great selection of organic materials for your garden which is getting harder to find now-a-days. They also have very healthy plants and I have never had a problem with any of their vegetables. And their pricing is the best around for most items. I highly recommend them for all your local garden needs. The only downside to Fasel's is that they are a bit smaller and if you are looking for something unique or out of the ordinary, you may be better off going to Sid's. more
