If I could give this place zero stars I would. I do not know how this place is still in business if this is the type of service they provide. I wish I had not “shopped local” and gone with a big box store instead. At least they have a 2 week return policy/satisfaction guarantee, minimum.
I ordered a rather expensive washing machine ($1100) on March 2, 2022 from Fasco Appliance in Oshkosh, WI and took delivery of my washer on March 3, 2022. My washing machine worked for exactly two uses in the “normal” cycle. After selecting the “deep wash setting” the machine shut off. It continued to behave like this every single time “deep wash, heavy duty, bedding and waterproof” cycles were used. I left a message for the store less than a week after delivery. Nobody ever called back. I used the machine on the “normal” cycle and it seemed to be ok most of the time. I contacted the store again on March 31, 2022; this time via email so I have a paper trail. A technician came out on April 6, 2022. This tech (Brandon) advised my husband that this machine has a cracked stator. A one month old washing machine has a cracked stator. He also told my husband that the machine was putting out 315 volts and also let him know that someone could have been electrocuted by this machine. He proceeded to unplug the machine “”””FOR YOUR SAFETY”””. After receiving this information I called Fasco Appliance. I was then informed by the store manger Willie that they do not exchange defective units, that the technician in fact did NOT tell my husband that the machine was putting out 315 volts and could have electrocuted someone and that they were doing me a FAVOR by ordering the defective part under warranty. Willie was very condescending and rude and quite frankly I would prefer not to deal with him ever again.
Attitude from slick Willie aside, one of my children fell ill during the night of April 6 and vomited all over 2 sets of bedding. I now have no way to wash said bedding. I cannot take a vomiting child
