I had a very different experience than the previous reviewer. My boyfriend and I ate here to celebrate his Birthday, and we were wholly impressed with the food and service. The dishes were savory; in fact, the flavors are still clear in my mind, weeks after our meal. I had a beef dish with an incredible risotto that still tickles my taste buds when I think of it. The restaurant was charming, the service was impeccable, and the portions were just right (enough room for an appetizer and desert). The only downside is that the restaurant is quite pricey; but the meal and overall dining experience were well worth the expense. I'll surely be dining here again, and I hope that the previous reviewer will give it another shot! more

My fiance and I took our family to the Farmhouse for mothers day this evening. I must say the server, Stephen, was exceptional,informative, and very attentive. On the other hand, the food didn't fit the bill. My fiance and I are very familiar with great food, flavor, and a well thought out menu that leaves our tastes buds wanting more before we get home, but tonight was very disappointing. The food was very bland, and just lazy. We expected to be wowed, but left craving something more that was just undeliverable. We even mentioned at the table about what we were going to eat when we arrived back home. If you want to leave a restaurant with an actual memorable experience, save your money for the Savory Grille, the name alone stands on it's own. On a positive note, the beer and wine selection was extensive and was very unique. If we ever chose to return, it would be to sit at the bar for some drinks.
