Our ultimate confidence in and compliment to The FArmhouse was scheduling two weddings there within six months. We had very favorable experiences at the Farmhouse. The personal service on the part of Shane Magee and Sandie Tyson and their staff made the weddings memorable and a gourmet treat. Their attention to detail and the pleasant absence of surprises made the each occasion a success. They clearly know how to stage and execute a wedding celebration. visited this site after hearing so much about and boy was I let down. The room looked very dirty and the smell was horrible. The event planner seemed very nice and I'm sure they could do a good job, but the room was a complete let down. more

I enjoyed my wedding at The Farmhouse almost a year ago. My friends are still comparing everyone else's wedding to mine. I've hard from many of my guests that they've never had such great food. I can't believe the price that some brides pay for their reception. The Farmhouse was so reasonable and included everything in their package such as linens, wedding cake, bar, etc. Second to the awesome food, the gardens were my favorite. They were gorgeous and I loved that the dance floor and bar were only steps away from the gardens. A true gem! Pros: food, price, fun! Cons: none! more

I recently attended a wedding at The Farmhouse and was very pleased. The quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff were much appreciated. It was nice to have the ceremony and reception in one location. The beautifully manicured gardens, where the ceremony was held, was only steps away from the patio for cocktail hour. Every part of the reception occurred so smoothly including the dinner service. Our entire table was surprised it only took a matter of minutes, instead of 30 to 45 minute service it normally takes, for the staff to serve all the guests. My husband raved about his entrée so much, we plan on going to the restaurant attached to The Farmhouse for dinner very soon. from the first meeting with the owner to the time we said good bye. I could not say enough good things about the staff and the people at The Farmhouse. The food options were amazing, they thought of every detail down to the seasonal beer we selected. Sandie and Pat were so helpful. the really made my wedding special, I would recommend these guys to anyone. they were so honest, it was refreshing to find a wedding site that actually cared about my wedding Pros: stress free, kept in budget, fantastic food. no hidden fees more

we were the only wedding that day, we planned our menu with their chefs. the food was amazing. i can see why the were voted best of mainline Pros: great time, honest people who care, no extra charges more

After a 2 hour meeting we established almost nothing about our wedding, the owner told us that if a wedding venue messes up that nobody will care because it is a one-time event, and he talked about himself most of the time. He seemed disappointed that our budget was under what he considered to be a cheap budget(10-15,000). He said he'd email us in a couple days(this was early July 2009). We just got an email from one of his people yesterday(october 22,2009). We were already upset and angry about not getting any response from them so my fiance told them to not contact us again, that we'd gone elsewhere and that they should work on better communication. We got a nasty email from the owner himself that included this line: ""there is no need to be condesending. Typically it is the bride that becomes irrational so maybe its better that you go somewhere else"". I am very happy we're not having out wedding there. Cons: awful customer service, rude owner more
