Great place to purchase pet and livestock supplies and products. Good prices and unique items. Knowledgeable staff and friendly service. We shop there at least once every other month for the past 3 years. more

I make the drive from central Orlando once a month to pick up dog food for my German Shepherd. They have better prices than Petco and they carry brands that the commercial stores in town don't always have. Taylor and the other young lady are very helpful every time that I go. They speak from experience. Taylor has had a lot of different animals as pets so she really knows her stuff, especially when it comes to horses and dogs. I always trust her recommendations. Great place and staff! I'm a customer for life. more

I've been a customer there for 4 and a half years, and me and everyone I know would disagree with this last review. We drive from Mims weekly, along with friends in Cocoa and one as far as Melbourne. Just stop by on a Saturday and see how busy this place is. Ask any customer there what they think of this place and you'll know there is something special going on here. My drive is worth it because I get what I need for my 6 horses and 2 dogs and save a crap load of money a year compared to what I used to pay locally. I'm not gonna pretend I know your story, but I'm sure you've conveniently left out quite a bit. I'm actually 100% sure you did, because these are awsome people that work there, and I've got a hell of a lot of people that would vouch for what I just said. I almost never write reviews of anything.... but Farm and Pet has earned a decidely negative review from me.\r \r Look up the word ""shill"". I believe that accurately describes the previous post from larrys72. It is a pure marketing piece.\r \r My experience has been quite different from the ""fast service"" and ""friendly staff"" mentioned.\r \r I've tried to order an item from Farm and Pet Outlet and it has turned into a frustrating experience:\r \r They were happy enough to take my order over two months ago. While I knew the item would not arrive within a couple of weeks, I was initially given expectations that it would arrive for pick-up within a month at least. \r \r Farm and Pet outlet has never contacted me about the order after that first contact.\r \r I've called several times to inquire. Each time the ""fast service"" is the same: The item has apparently not arrived and they promised to call be later in the day with an update. They have never called with an update.\r \r Yesterday, I stopped in on my way to Orando. The answer was still the same: The item had apparently not arrived. They could not be bothered to investigate the order to even determine if it had been placed. I stood right in front of them while they discussed their work schedule for the weekend without any indication there was to be any more effort toward finding any information about my order. I just left to make my appointment in Orlando.\r \r I called back today, hoping to get the manager. I was told that he would not be in today. The same person that failed to call me back several times in the past began to tell me that I should call back when the manager was in. I interrupted to ask if she could not handle writing down the request for the manager to call me back. \r \r At that point, she hung up on me. !?!\r \r At this point, I've found another dealer for the item.\r \r Though I pass Farm and Pet Outlet on my way to and from work in Orlando, I will never, ever stop in or contact them again. more
