Fantasy Island Amusement Park

We go every year and always enjoy it! Contrary to some other posters, they acutally DO have a "pay one price" option. It's on Friday's between 2pm-7pm and it's $15 per person for unlimited rides (games are extra) not a bad deal at all! go to www.fanstasyisland.com anyway, the reason they're able to keep it very nice and clean is b/c it's not some cheap-o place, therefore, they have the resources to keep it nice! imho, it's the right size for a few hours of fun and a great afternooon out for our week at the beach. more

For anyone with children, no trip to Long Beach Island would be complete without a visit to Fantasy island. Although you have to be prepared to drop a good amount of money for arcade games, games of chance, rides for the kids, miniature golf, and snacks, it really is a fun and safe way to spend a few hours. There are typically some special entertainers on hand, such as magicians and handlers with exotic animals. A trip here is sure to be a memorable occasion for the whole family! more

This is an excellent place for young children. Well maintained, well staffed, very clean and alot of fun. Not too much going on to overwhelm the children or to break your wallet. My son is 4 and this is perfect for children his age. I highly recommend taking the trip there. more

The only amusement park in town. It's not cheap, but it's a fun family activity, especially for kids. Tokens are $0.75 each and you need at least 3 or 4 on most rides, so things get pricey. The most impressive rides are the "Swinging Ship" and a new skyscraper drop ride type thing, but that was closed when we were there. The ferris wheel isn't huge but the views are great -- you can see Atlantic City's skyline at night. There's a huge arcade right in the place, and there's always good live entertainment -- a magician, mime, etc. more

Please, don't go here under any circumstances. The rides are limited with a grand total of 19 rides, most of which are extremely boring for anyone not in the 4 foot and under crowd. Supposing you had a few kids that fit into this category, I still say don't go there; the prices are outrageous. You're easily gonna drop $200 at this place for an hour or two of "fun," between rides, games, and food. I took the time to list all the rides and prices below. Their system is based on tokens, which are 75 cents a piece. And no, they don't give any bulk discount; they sell rolls for of 20 for $15, and rolls of 40 for $30.
