The other reviewers were right! 2/13/2010

I went to Fantasia based on other client's reviews and was not disappointed. Shelly is a skilled colorist and resolved my hair color challenge will ease. I emerged looking completely transformed! The Bumble & Bumble products used on my hair made it feel healthy despite the processing and the cut that Shelly gave me made a world of difference even though she took just a little off here and there. Dominique was very helpful and friendly as well. Shelly is very talented and I highly recommend Fantasia to anyone who takes good hair seriously. I have already booked my return appointment. GREAT EXPERIENCE! 1/18/2010

I stopped in Fantasia after checking out a few salons in Mystic. My husband was at the casino for a convention and we had dinner plans with his bosses later, my hair hadn't been cut in about 2 months and I really needed it cut. I am picky so I used my GPS and drove around Mystic peeping in salons. When I saw Fantasia it reminded me of somewhere I would go and had a nice old school appeal. The staff was stylish and knowledgeable and my stylist Dominique, gave me a fresh cut relieving my hair of heavy layers without taking off much length. I came out with hair that is healthier and much easier to work with. She even taught me how to blow out my hair (which I have never done in my life...I am more of a messy shaggy easy hair girl). When I met my husband and his bosses for dinner I was complimented on my hair and my husband who knows how picky I am said it was one of the best I have had. I will definitely go there again when I am in the Mystic Area. Pros: Great attention to detail nice knowledgable staff Cons: It's not in my town more

Bumble and bumble is here!!!!! 9/16/2009

I have to admit how happy and excited I am to say my favorite stylist (Shelly) is now the proud owner of Fantasia Salon. The salon has always been a great place to be, but now I just love coming in everytime and seeing the changes she made. A new hot stone pedicure tub over looking the river, waiting room, front reception area just to name a few. But the best part is that Shelly has finally brought in Bumble and bumble. For those of you who dont know about B&b you're missing out. This is by far the best product line I have ever used (and let me tell you their has been quite a few). Anyway, this girl knows her stuff. From color and design to products and customer service. Sometimes I wish I could work there. Pros: Bumble and bumble.....need I say anymore? Cons: seriously, no cons............. more

Best Salon in CT 1/5/2009

I have been a client of this salon for 4 years now and in the past have traveled distance to have my hair and nails done (New York, Boston). This salon, is by far, the best one I've been to. Wonderful team members, up-to-date with all the latest techniques, style, and product. All seven stylists there are phenomenal, but for the past two years I've been with Shelly, and she is AWESOME! more
