I ended up in the Stapleton area and the party I was with asked me to pick a place to eat. I spotted Famous Dave's and suggested we try it. Typical ambiance of a BBQ pit type place, relaxed environment. My iced tea glass was huge and the tea was fresh! They had a choice of 6 BBQ sauces that the waitress spelled out for us on a plate (they spell BAR B Q in the different sauces for you to dip in. I know I am missing a letter, but I can't remember exactly how she did it). The variety in flavors was fantastic! My favorite was the sweet and zesty. I ordered the hickory chicken sandwich. However our waitress brought me a plain slab of grilled chicken and a plan bun. After correcting the issue, I thought the sandwich was great! The chicken was flavorful and moist and the bacon was perfectly chewy. I was also impressed with their special sweet & spicy pickles & the jalapeno mac & cheese. Overall, I was satisfied, the food was prepared well & we had a nice lunch. I am not a BBQ connoisseur, but I would visit Famous Dave's again!
Pros: Sweet & spicy pickles, jalapeno mac & cheese, chewy bacon, fresh iced tea & a variety of BBQ sauces to choose from.
Cons: My order came out wrong. However the staff was quick to correct it.
