Family Fun Factory

We accidentally found the Family Fun Factory on SR 16 but had a fun little date, of sorts, there. It is usually not very busy so you aren't embarrassed of partaking in the arcade or go-karts, and we are in our twenties. My favorite in the arcade was a replica of the "Whack an Alien" from Toystory, and I fed quite a few dollars into it, beating the high score once, thank you very much. The putt putt is very fun and beautifully decorated and affordable and we were glad to find it after having played the other little courses we knew about one too many times. It is near the outlet mall so it is ideally situated for preoccupying your older kids if you want to spend a day shopping, but is also worth the trip from downtown Saint Augustine for a little innocent fun. It is a great stress-reliever. more

The Family Fun Factory is a great place to take the family. They have a miniature golf course, a batting cage, go-karts, an arcade, and more. The arcade is definitely geared for older kids. They keep the games up to date but have the old favorites like ski-ball. The go-karts are also for older kids, but I believe you can take younger children with you if they are above a certain height. The putt-putt golf course has wonderful miniature replicas of historic St. Augustine locations. more
